Wowzer… this wedding! From the moment I walked in her room she was just so happy and friendly. Matthew and Vanessa giggled, laughed and cried through their day at the amazing Chateau la Durantie in the heart of South West France.
The seven bridesmaids and six handsome groomsmen where all such good fun, looking super glamorous in their gowns and tuxedos.
Chateau La Durantie is the ideal place for a romantic wedding. Located in the Dordogne, Southwest France, it was built in 1840 by the Duke of Isly. They can hold weddings for up to 150 guests, and can accommodate up to 43 guests on the grounds.
Vanessa and Matthew chose to get married in front of the amazing bandstand in the grounds. The lovely celebrant Piers Lane had the couple in fits of giggles with his beautiful personal ceremony that didn’t leave a dry eye, including me.
The flowers as always, from Lisa Gatsby, where amazing and set the wedding off with her unique style. Enjoy a few informal pics from this wedding.
Family and friends where important to Vanessa and Matthew and making sure everybody had a great day – they really did!

The speeches where probably the best I have ever heard. The two best men taking on Ant and Dec for a Saturday Chateau night show. It was hilarious and a complete surprise to the bride and groom.
The rain stopped and offered us a chance to grab some romantic photos in the grounds and staircase of the chateau.
With the rain stopped and the speeches finished it was time to party. The song ‘Because your gorgeous’ kicked off the evening.
